Bud’s Machine Tools offers a variety of services to take care of our machine tool customers before, during and long after the sale. From appraisals to auctions to helping you liquidate your old machines, Bud’s is here to help.
Bryan “Bud” Jorgenson trained in metalworking machinery sales by the side of his father, Roger Jorgenson. Roger, who sold machine tools and metal fabrication equipment throughout the Intermountain West and beyond for decades, was certified as an appraiser and was able to provide that service to his customers. To continue this tradition of full-customer service, Bryan continues to offer appraisals, auctions, liquidations and similar benefits to our friends in the industry.
Offered Services:
- APPRAISALS | Bud’s many years in the industry has equipped him to evaluate the worth of any type of metalworking equipment. In addition, he has partnered with other certified appraisers to help provide both Fair Market Value Appraisals and Liquidation Value Appraisals (for auction). To address “bias or conflict of interest issues,” they will typically outsource a select group of seasoned ASA / USPAP certified and AMEA appraisers who possess years of experience and in-depth knowledge to properly perform FL-OL-FMV appraisals for all forms of Machinery, Equipment, Inventory, IP and Real Estate, which are relied upon for asset based lending, and business making decisions.
- AUCTIONS | We offer cash buy outs, guarantees and commission sale programs. Depending on the project, we can perform complete turnkey, on-site, walk-through sales programs with real-time webcast / current software programs. If needed, we can also remove and relocate the assets to one of our storage facilities.
- LIQUIDATIONS | Whether it is one machine or many, we can help you profitably rid yourself of unneeded metalworking equipment. We are looking for WHOLE SHOPS to buy in order to diversify our collection of needed used equipment, and can help you otherwise liquidate old machine tools. Because each inventory assignment is usually different, we meticulously analyze each project to achieve maximum returns in the most cost effective manner. Our services range from conducting “going-out-of-business” sale events, to selling the company “complete” as an ongoing concern. (And we also take machines on trade!)
- CONSULTING | Our daily activity and exposure in the industry provides us with up-to-date information about trends, nuances and dynamics that affect metalworking businesses, both large and small. This enables us to provide accurate current market valuations to a customer to determine estimated values for equipment and other important information surrounding their current and upcoming metalworking projects.
- RIGGING | We work with rigging companies across the U.S. to provide quality loading/unloading and moving services. In addition, we partner with several entities here in the Intermountain West to provide discounted rigging services for our local customers.
- MACHINE SERVICE | Our trained technicians can come to you to repair your metalworking machines. Please call for rates and availability of a service tech.
- PARTS & TOOLING | Our staff can locate any replacement parts or consumable pieces that you might need for any and all of your machine tools and metal fabrication equipment.
At Bud’s, we specialize in metal fabrication equipment, so we can help you to get the most value out of your machines.
